Sorry it’s been so long since the last post, but we have been very busy at FTMHQ. As things begin to wind down, the end of this season is even more of an emotional one than usual, as this year we are saying good bye to our beloved Grand Pavilion Yurt. She is moving into retirement and saw her final job at the wonderful fundraising “Elephantastic Weekend” for ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.
I am probably being over sentimental, but this yurt was the turning point in our business and has given us the opportunity to work with so many wonderful clients. I think there is a certain type of person who wants to get married in a yurt and they seem to be pretty amazing people. So thank you, to all our past clients who toasted their new lives together within her arches, to everyone who danced the night away under her canvas canopy and to the few who even woke up inside her after partying until the sun came up. We and she, have had a ball!
Thankfully though it is not all sadness, it does mean there is a new and exciting beauty on her way which we can’t wait to share details with you as soon as we can! Until that time however we would like to reminisce over some pictures of the old girl doing what she did best, stealing the show at celebration after celebration.
